Photokina is always a big event in the Innova trade show calendar and, this year, more than ever, will be no exception. In celebration of a decade of non-stop innovation, Innova has embarked upon a major rebranding programme. This streamlines the range into three key product areas: Fine Art, FibaPrint® and Graphic Art, highlighting the company’s core strengths in all areas of digital imaging and printing. The company’s new strapline: ‘Innova. More than paper’ signals the company’s clear ambition to keep on innovating and extending its pre-eminent position in the sector. “Innova celebrated ten years as a company last year and the time seemed right to review, rationalise and re-energise,” said Sales & Marketing Director Jon Courtiour. “At the same time as we have refreshed the ranges, we have a new, sharper image that gives the brand greater impact and visibility, and correctly positions us as a leading player in this market.” Innova. More than a match Fine Art by Innova has been expanded to offer artists and photographers an even wider range of digital media – and in this case, more is more. Innova recognises that every artist and photographer looks for that perfect match between idea and execution in their prints – to see the image in the camera lens or computer screen transformed by ink and paper into a high-impact print. And that’s what you get with Innova’s digital media. Designed exclusively for digital print, fully archival and compatible with both dye and pigment inks, the range offers the complete range of surface textures, tones and weights, each finely balanced to create the perfect print. Look out for the bigger choice of lasting solutions at this year’s Photokina. Don’t overlook the revolutionary aspect [...]

Last week at FESPA Digital 2014 in Munich the Innova team were kept busy with many interested visitors. JetMaster Display Systems were popular, as always, with the newest Direct Print products generating most interest. Also popular was our new range of repositionable printed medias, with many visitors to the stand taking great joy in removing and replacing the interactive elements on our display. Featured on the stand was photographer Simon Bull who visited the show; "I was delighted and honoured that Innova Art chose to display such a large selection of my work on their trade stand at the FESPA Digital 2014 Show in Munich recently and at such a prestigious international event. A 'first' for me to have my photographs reproduced at such a large scale and I was not disappointed - the Innova team produced stunning results. Their software (provided by Shiraz) coped brilliantly with the image enlargements without any loss of quality and it was both interesting and useful to be able to see them displayed on such a wide variety of their great products. Much thought had obviously been put into the layout of the images on their stand and once again Innova’s creativity and expertise delivered the goods. Thank you, Innova." 28/05/2014
This year’s FESPA, Munich, 20-23 May, gives Innova Art a platform to present some of the world’s most exciting products for high quality, wide-format printing. Unique digital art media to maximise eco-solvent and latex print opportunities Innova Art presents its expanding range of eco-solvent/latex compatible media, specially developed to bring out the very best from the new generation of signage printers. The Decor Art 260gsm IFA93 and Décor Velvet ES 300gsm IFA 94 are fourdrinier-made, alpha-cellulose based, digital art papers specially designed for high-volume, value-driven eco-solvent and latex printing. The papers emulate the traditional surface textures of watercolour media and, in being acid and lignin free, comply with the most exacting archival standards. Just as importantly, the stunning image resolution and colour rendition make them the first choice for printers looking for “crossover” opportunities in the billion pound décor art market. Both papers are available in 25m reels at widths of 30”, 54” and 60”. Innova Art has expanded its award-winning JetMaster range in 2014, offering an even greater choice of fashionable, low cost 3D display solutions for busy production environments. The 'original' JetMaster Photo Wrap will be on show and is available in a range of sizes, from 5x5” to A3+, with new sizes being added all the time. The all-new JetMaster Direct Print Photo Wrap, specially developed for both hybrid and flatbed UV printers, saves even more time by being printed in one pass. It is the ideal volume solution for stylish point of sale, trade show graphics, signage, wall art and photo décor. The board is made from entirely recycled material and is fully recyclable. It is available in assembled sizes of 16x20x1.5”, 20x30x1.5”and 12x12x1.5”. The JetMaster Photo Panel and Direct Print [...]

Innova Art’s successful outing at the newly launched The Photography Show at the NEC, Birmingham, 1-4 March 2014, suggests the new show has more than matched the pulling power of its predecessor. “As a company, we had a terrific four days, with interest right across the range,” said Innova Art Sales Director Jon Courtiour. “All the work we’d put into expanding and improving our JetMaster products clearly paid off, with the entire range proving a magnet for visitors – and especially the newly launched Photo Panels. Our on-stand demonstrations helped: it really couldn’t be any easier to convert your flat print to 3D than with JetMaster and a two-minute demonstration is all the proof anyone needs.” The JetMaster Photo Panel is the latest innovation in the award-winning JetMaster Display System. The lightweight alternative to MDF blocks, JetMaster Photo Panels are available in two smart matte finishes and a range of sizes, from 5x7 to 24x32inches. Elegant, lightweight prints for either small-scale desktop or large-format wall display can be produced in minutes. As popular were some new additions to the recently expanded Olmec range, the Pearl, Metallic Gloss and Metallic Lustre papers in particular. “At Fine Art Foto, the online retailer of digital media who shared our stand, they experienced huge interest in the Olmec metallic and pearlescent papers – which demonstrates that something just that bit different will always spark visitors’ interest,” said Courtiour. Innova Art also presented its ground-breaking Fibaprint range – the digital option for discerning converts from traditional darkroom papers – and its acclaimed range of fine art digital paper and canvas. Of particular interest to vistiors wast the FibaPrint Baryta (IFA-69) seen on the Innova Art stand displaying images by photographer [...]

Omnibus in Clapham Common is a community arts centre that has been set up after many years of hard work by local residents. Taking over the space of the old library building a dedicated team has been working to redecorate and re imagine the space to create a dedicated theatrical, musical and visual arts centre for the local area. We first got involved in the project when local resident and artist, Philip O'Reilly, approached us to provide material for window graphics he designed for the building. Yesterday Cllr Mark Bennett, Mayor of Lambeth, handed over the keys to the old library and officially opened the building to the public in it's new incarnation.
