Fine Art Trade Guild specifications require that for fine art printing all papers must be acid free and between pH 7-9.

The market for limited edition giclee prints has ballooned in recent years with the introduction of pigment based inks. In some instances artists prefer these inks because they have set new longevity standards – desktop printers tend to use dye based inks which fade much quicker. Great advances in OEM ink technology have helped bring the standards up to the level they are today.
