Ricardo Barros is a professional photographer and author of FACING SCULPTURE: A Portfolio of Portraits, Sculpture and Related Ideas. He is currently presenting a one-man show of the FACING SCULPTURE portraits at the DeCordova Museum, in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
"These are photographs of African art. More specifically, they are photographs of a collection of African art. Because of the particular objects this collection includes, as well as the way that these objects are presented, this collection says as much about the collector as it does about the objects collected."
Barros' chooses to print his images on Innova Smooth Cotton High White 315gsm.
