Tony Slater is a well established watercolour artist from Nottinghamshire and discovered our papers at the Artists and Illustrators exhibition at Olympia in July 2001. Working mainly in strong, vivid, transparent watercolours depicting, amongst others, landscapes, floral and marine imagery. He said that the reproduction on our papers was that good that it was sometimes impossible to tell them from the originals. He was impressed with the convincing reproduction of watercolour transparency, the accuracy of colour, detail and texture of the paper surfaces.
Tony gives watercolour demonstrations and runs full day workshops in the Midlands. His work is exhibited nationally.
